Fire Door Inspection

This is an 8-hour instructor-led class where students will come to understand the Code requirements as stated in NFPA 80 (Fire Code), NFPA 101 (Life Safety Code) as well as hardware applications required to meet ADA (ANSI 117). Students will learn the intent of these Codes that are used to establish our International Building Code and standards that affect door hardware. They will recognize what opening components and/or corrections are required to have hardware comply with these codes. We will cover codes as they relate to the Use and Operation of these openings within facilities. This program will help both the novice and veteran to identify, and correct (with code-approved products) the most recurring violations of these codes in the field.
